Cardiff have spent a lot of money this summer and certainly look to have the best chance of survival amongst the newly promoted sides. West Ham have also splashed the cash but look to lack quality cover for Andy Carroll who misses this match as Maiga failed to shine last season and Vaz Te has proven time and time again he is not good enough for this level. Cardiff are also likely to be without their main striker in new signing Andreas Cornelius and this suggests that the game may lack goals but in Craig Bellamy they still have a genuine match winner in their lineup.
